Every Independence Day, we gather with family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate the freedoms that make our communities special. We fire up the grill, enjoy good company, and create memories with the people we love.

And for many of us, those memories include the pets who have become part of our families.

From the dogs who greet us at the door, to the cats who rule the house, to the birds, reptiles, and companions that make us smile every day, our pets bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into our lives. They are there for the celebrations, the quiet moments, and everything in between.

As we celebrate our nation's independence with backyard gatherings and skies filled with fireworks, we know many of our pets experience the holiday a little differently. While we celebrate loudly, they deserve a little quiet recognition of their own.
